Transatlantic Says Catastrophes Cost $110 Million

Jan. 18 (Bloomberg) — Transatlantic Holdings Inc. Pre-Raphaelites oil paintings, the reinsurer that was previously owned by American International Group Inc., said catastrophe costs in the fourth quarter were about $110 million.

The sum includes about $72 million tied to floods in Thailand Abstract-Expressionism oil paintings, the New York-based reinsurer said today in a statement distributed by Business Wire.
